Qualifications

• Master’s degree and at least five years in force management or strategic planning; a BA with 10 years’ experience is acceptable.
• Fifteen plus years of defense-related experience in high-level staff assignments is required or strongly preferred.
• Experience designing organizational structures and conducting CBAs or force integration processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead research, design, and analytic writing for Marine Corps Force Design blueprint.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative force structure analyses across the service.
• Evaluate second- and third-order effects of proposed changes to advise leadership on constraints.
• Organize and lead planning teams with military, civilian, and academic professionals.
• review strategic documents and communicate findings to senior stakeholders at high clearances.
• Develop executive briefs, reports, and investment recommendations for future capabilities.
