Job summary

First Roles seeks a FORCE DEPLOYMENT PLANS AND EXECUTION ANALYST to support MARFORCOM NORFOLK. The role focuses on policy execution, planning, and force management across Marine Corps and joint levels, coordinating with SMEs to inform requirements and doctrine updates.

The position emphasizes developing strategic, operational, and tactical plans, resolving program challenges, and providing policy recommendations to improve deployment effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and resolve policy implementation concerns among a diverse working group.
• Assign internal work assignments, processes, and projects based on changing organizational needs.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to obtain requirements, policy formulation, and information about new initiatives to generate subject reports.
• Review compliance with established Force Deployment Planning and Execution policies, procedures, and processes throughout the planning process.
• Direct the development of strategic, operational, and tactical plans for various levels (e.g., Marine Corps, joint levels, organizational).
• Analyze program challenges or shortfalls to identify potential solutions, provide policy, or process change recommendations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the development of communication strategy and policy at the command, agency, or corporate level.
• Provide subject matter expertise and oversight to develop and review joint and service doctrine, operations orders and force management directives
• Develop global sourcing solutions from all U. S. Marine Corps forces and capabilities (assigned, unassigned, active/reserve components) based on requests for forces/capabilities received

You will serve as a FORCE DEPLOYMENT PLANS AND EXECUTION ANALYST in the G3/G5/G7 Division of MARFORCOM NORFOLK.
