Job summary

Shoe Carnival in Texas is seeking a friendly Store Associate to greet customers, assist with shoe and accessory selection, and operate the register with accurate cash handling. You will balance cash and process returns, while promoting promotions and the Shoe Perks program.

You’ll maintain tidy displays, restock merchandise, and support loss prevention in a fast-paced retail environment. Flexible part-time hours and on-the-job training are available.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to count cash and perform basic math.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help finding shoes and accessories.
• Operate the register, handle cash, give change, and process returns.
• Use basic math for transactions and balance during shifts.
