Job summary

San Antonio Shoemakers is seeking a part-time Retail Store Associate in Lafayette, LA. You will greet customers, fit shoes, and guide shoppers through product categories in a friendly store environment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, processing sales on POS, and maintaining SAS standards. No prior experience required, but strong customer service and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalents.
• Retail experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day store opening and closing procedures.
• Provide a friendly welcoming environment, greeting and acknowledging every customer.
• Help customers have a seat, measure their feet, and fit SAS shoes.
• Show different categories of shoes, handbags, and shoe care products.
• Operate the POS system for sales, returns, charges, checks and transfers.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and enthusiasm for SAS items and company philosophy.
• Be ready to work your scheduled time.
• Complete special projects as needed.
