Job summary

CULT GAIA is seeking a Product Development & Fit Assistant for its Accessories & Footwear team in Los Angeles. The role supports production coordination, data entry, vendor communication, and PO management, with involvement in fit testing and sample reviews.

The candidate will update ERP data, create UPC files, and assist with PP/TOP approvals and PLM uploads. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in Accessories, Footwear, Apparel/ Garment Production, or similar production-related role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Adobe Creative Cloud preferred; NetSuite experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update data in ERP (pricing, HTS codes, MID codes, vendor setup).
• Enter and maintain finish goods and raw material POs in ERP, including ex-factory dates and warehouse allocations.
• Allocate and receive raw material POs in ERP.
• Create UPC files and distribute to vendors as needed.
• Communicate with vendors on production timelines, samples, approvals, and shipments.
• Create and update production WIPs for vendors and cross-functional partners.
• Assist Production Director with PP/TOP approvals and maintain production standards and documentation.
• Upload PP/TOP comments and approvals to PLM system.
• Assist with footwear sample reviews and fit evaluations, providing feedback on fit and wearability.
• Try on footwear samples to support product development and fit approvals.
• Receive and send department packages; may drive for pickups/deliveries.
• Organize and maintain production records and pull records for review.
• Assist with packaging trim, carton marking, and packing approvals including tags and UPC tickets.
• Assist with customer submissions and packaging.
