Nike seeks a Footwear Materials Designer to help shape the future of Nike Footwear Materials, within the Core Footwear group. You will craft materials that balance performance with trend, telling stories that connect with athletes and consumers.

The role emphasizes conceptual exploration, concept presentations, mood boards, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative material solutions across running, training, basketball, lifestyle, and sandals.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in textiles or related field or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of relevant design experience in textiles or footwear.
• Ability to translate consumer insights into narratives and product concepts.
• Understanding of sneaker, youth, and sports culture.
• Experience creating concept presentations and mood boards.
• Experience with 3D samples and mockups.

Responsabilidades

• Work on a wide range of footwear product spanning performance and lifestyle for men and women.
• Develop technical and complex material designs using latest techniques.
• Curate and elevate existing materials for refresh and collection models.
• Create tech packs and collaborate with manufacturing partners.
• Communicate with athletes when needed.
