Job summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Director of Football Operations to support the Football Program. The role reports to the Head Football Coach and Director of Football Operations and includes day-to-day duties within the program's operations department.

Responsibilities include coordinating team practice, travel, and gameday operations, plus handling administrative tasks and events planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience, and administrative experience.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Strong organizational and written/oral communication skills; maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of the Big Ten Conference and NCAA rules, particularly recruiting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Team practice setup and operations.
  • Assist with Team travel coordination.
  • Assist with Gameday setup and operations.
  • Assist with all administrative functions assigned by the head coach.
  • Assist with Special event planning and operations.
  • Assist with Bowl Game planning and operations.
  • Assist with business office interactions.
