Job summary

Collier County Public Schools invites applications for the Football Head Coach position at Barron Collier High for the SPR season. The role is a 1.00 FTE position located at Barron Collier High School.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, hold a High School Diploma or GED, provide 1 reference letter (unless CCPS staff), and hold the appropriate Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification. Basic Life Support (First Aid, CPR, AED) is required.

Qualifications

The Florida Department of Education issues two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates:

• 3-Year Temporary Certificate (Issued ONLY to give a coach the opportunity to complete the requirements for the 5-Year Certificate. It is NOT renewable.)


• 5-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate

WHO NEEDS IT?

Coaches who are paid a supplement from the school District but DO NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate.

Volunteer Coaches who are employees of the Collier County Public Schools, but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educators Certification
