Job summary
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System, invites a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon with expertise in foot and ankle surgery to join our collegial team in Tucson, Arizona. You will provide direct perioperative care for foot and ankle cases, mentor residents, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in quality improvement and program
Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent; completion of an ACGME-accredited residency.
- Fellowship training or strong experience in foot and ankle surgery (including arthroplasty).
- Active, full, and unrestricted license in any U.S. state.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct clinical care and perioperative management for orthopedic trauma with expertise in foot & ankle surgery.
- Lead, mentor, and teach within a thriving academic environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the VA and community partners.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement and hospital committee work.
- Shape program development with access to cutting-edge resources.
