Job summary

HealthOp Solutions is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an orthopedic foot and ankle role with autonomy in outpatient care and collaboration with fellowship-trained specialists. You will evaluate new and established patients, coordinate treatment plans, educate patients, and participate in perioperative management.

The position offers independent clinic scheduling, clinic and surgical exposure, and opportunities for growth in a highly specialized field.

Qualifications

• CPR and ACLS certification.
• For Physician Assistants: Graduate of an AMA-accredited PA program
• Active or scheduled NCCPA certification
• BA/BS required; MS preferred
• For Nurse Practitioners: Current Arizona RN license
• Current Arizona APRN license
• National certification approved by Arizona APRN Board

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage foot and ankle conditions in the outpatient setting.
• Obtain comprehensive patient histories and perform physical examinations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic studies as appropriate.
• Administer injections, medications, and other office-based treatments.
• Triage patient phone calls and address clinical concerns.
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Assist physicians during surgical procedures and perioperative care.
• Participate in hospital rounds as needed.
• Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly within the EMR.
• Respond to urgent clinical situations and medical emergencies.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
