Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of musculoskeletal examination and imaging.
• Ability to develop treatment plans and document patient encounters.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, APPs, residents, and staff.
• Experience with injections, aspirations, splinting, casting, or minor procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans with documentation.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage patient communications, prescriptions, results and urgent triage.
• Perform injections, aspirations, splinting, casting, bracing, minor outpatient procedures, wound care.
• Assist attending physicians with operative care and surgical management.
• Maintain clinical volumes and possible outreach to satellite locations.
• Participate in peer-to-peer insurance reviews and administrative requirements.
• Engage in quality improvement and mentoring APPs, students, and peers.
• Cover day call on a rotational basis.
