The Coeur d'Alene Public Schools-District Office is seeking a Food Service Worker Floater to support multiple school kitchens. You will prepare meals, serve students and staff, and keep areas clean while following safety standards and production records.

You must be dependable, adaptable, and able to travel between sites. This role may involve a busy, varied environment in a school setting and requires reliable transportation and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or cleaning experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to different locations daily.
• Must pass a background check and fingerprint screening and MVRE.

Responsabilités

• Travel between school sites as scheduled to assist with daily kitchen operations
• Prepare and serve food according to recipes, production records, and safety standards
• Keep workspaces clean, organized, and safe
• Restock serving areas such as food lines, salad bars, and milk boxes
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries using FIFO practices
• Serve meals to students, staff, and guests with a positive attitude
• Perform routine cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
• Follow all health and safety regulations at each site
• Step in to support kitchen teams or cover absences
• Submit reports and complete assigned tasks on time
• Take direction from Kitchen Managers and adjust quickly to new team dynamics

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Must be able to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Frequent bending, reaching, walking, and use of hands
• Varying kitchen environments with moderate noise levels
• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with occasional extended weeks
• Must be able to drive between school sites and attend company meetings as needed
