TEMCO– A Tech24 Company in Mobile, AL seeks a Commercial Foodservice Equipment Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain hot-side kitchen equipment. You will deliver exceptional service, document work, and manage parts while representing Tech24 professionally.

Role includes a company vehicle, gas card, uniforms, and phone; benefits start after your date of hire, with weekly pay and ongoing training opportunities in a fast-paced service network.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial foodservice repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read manuals, wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Own industry standard hand tools.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
• EPA Universal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers).
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe, efficient equipment operations.
• Document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system.
• Communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities.

Position Summary

As part of the TEMCO team and broader Tech24 network, the Foodservice Technicians plays a critical role in servicing commercial cooking (hot side) equipment. This role is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment while delivering exceptional customer service. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who takes pride in solving problems, minimizing customer downtime, and representing the company with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, etc.)
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system
• Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial foodservice repair experience

• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions
• Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters
• Own industry standard hand tools
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed
• EPA Universal certification preferred

Compensation Transparency

The advertised pay range for this position is $30-$40 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, skill set, and overall qualifications. Candidates with advanced expertise in both commercial hot-side and cold-side equipment may be considered toward the higher end of the range.
