Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related experience in food production.
• Familiarity with FedEx air freight services is a plus.
• Basic English speaking and written proficiency.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic tasks.
• Willingness to work in a cold environment (0–35 degrees).
• Combination of the above will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from the truck, container, and stock in the designated area.
• Ensure product is properly placed on racks, shelves, or in bins according to established practice.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or convey orders to the packing station or shipping department and prepare for shipping.
• Ensure product is handled in a sanitary manner.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Oversee FedEx air freight deliveries and prepare products for air delivery to required standards.
• Record or remove amounts of materials to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Arrange products in specified sequence for processing by other workers.
• Drive forklift or other motorized equipment to transport items within the plant.
• Support in maintaining receiving and inventory records.
• Adhere to the company’s safety practices.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
