Job summary

Fresh & Ready Foods in Melbourne, FL is hiring for full-time Food Transporter/Delivery Driver. Location is 685 Atlantis Road, Melbourne, FL 32904. Night, weekend, and overnight shifts may be required. Pays $20.50 per hour with full benefits. Applications accepted ongoing until filled.

Role involves delivering food and supplies to units, loading/unloading, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness in a temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver's license and a valid food handler's permit where required.
• Valid driver's license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Picks up requisitioned supplies from staging clerk.
• Receives completed production orders from staging clerk; inventories items to complete orders.
• Loads orders onto truck with staging clerks' assistance.
• Unloads requisitioned materials at delivery site.
• Follows sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment.
• Keeps hot and cold food items in compliance with company standards and safety requirements.
• Collects empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise.
• Responsible for general cleanliness of assigned vehicle.
• Performs routine maintenance on truck.
• Interacts with coworkers to ensure company service standards.
• Provides quality customer service via one-on-one attention to detail.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• We are hiring immediately for full time FOOD TRANSPORTER/DELIVERY DRIVER positions.

• Requirement : Previous 1 year of driving a box truck experience required. Must have a valid driver's license.
