Job summary

Fresh & Ready Food Group is seeking a FOOD TRANSPORTER/DELIVERY DRIVER for a full-time position in Renton, WA. The role requires a valid state driver’s license and, where required, a food handler’s permit.

Expect early mornings and weekends with full-time hours and a fixed pay rate of $25.75 per hour. Responsibilities include loading, transporting, and delivering food products, ensuring safety and sanitation, and maintaining route documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver's license and a valid food handler's permit where required.
• Valid driver's license ensures safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Fresh & Ready Food Group vehicles, completing required vehicle inspections and safety checks before and during each route.
• Load, transport, deliver, and unload products accurately and efficiently while following established delivery procedures and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate pickup, delivery, and route documentation, promptly reporting any discrepancies, delivery issues, or customer concerns.
• Follow all applicable hours-of-service requirements, delivery schedules, company procedures, and customer-specific guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all pre-approved business and route-related expenses.
• Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers, coworkers, management, and the public.
• Maintain all required driver documentation and credentials.

• We are hiring immediately for a full time FOOD TRANSPORTER/DELIVERY DRIVER position.
• Location: Fresh & Ready FG WA - 701 Monter Road Southwest, Renton, WA 98057. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. Days and hours may vary. Flexibility required: early mornings and weekends. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous experience loading, delivering, and unloading food products required. Must have a valid driver's license.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $25.75 per hour.
• Additional Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Job Summary

Summary: Delivers food, supplies and other products to units and areas of service using a vehicle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Picks up requisitioned supplies from staging clerk.
• Receives completed production orders from staging clerk. Inventories items to ensure completion of production orders.
• Loads orders onto truck with assistance of staging clerks in a safe, orderly manner.
• Unloads requisitioned materials at delivery site.
• Follows sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment.
• Ensures hot and cold food items are kept in compliance with company standards and meet all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Collects empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise.
• Responsible for general cleanliness of assigned vehicle.
• Performs routine maintenance on truck.
• Interacts with coworkers to ensure company service standards.
• Provides quality customer service via one-on-one attention to detail.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
