Job summary

Sodexo at Alfred University is seeking a Food Supervisor to oversee daily operations across fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining and cafes. On-site role with varying shifts, full-time employment, and a pay range of $20–$22 per hour.

You will coordinate routine work activities, supervise staff, and collaborate with management to ensure quality, service, and safety. Training and development opportunities are available as part of a comprehensive benefits

• 1+ years of related work experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

What You’ll Do: As a Food Supervisor at Sodexo, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. You will provide oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of service employees engaged in food operations, including but not limited to fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining and cafes.
Responsibilities include:

• Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
