Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Food Supervisor at Franklin Pierce University. This part-time role requires overseeing daily food service operations across multiple dining formats, with weekend morning, afternoon or evening shifts.

The supervisor will coordinate tasks with management to maintain quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has 1+ year of related experience, some supervisory exposure, and a commitment to a safe, collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Weekend availability and flexibility for mornings, afternoons and/or evenings.
• Part-time employment with weekend shifts as described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to management in daily oversight of key functions and employees.
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees.
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in areas such as quality and service.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with regularity.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on unit needs.

Employment Type: Part-time

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00

What You’ll Do:

As a Food Supervisor at Sodexo, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. You will provides oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of service employees engaged in food operations, including but not limited to fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining and cafes.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
