Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking a Food Supervisor at CENTRAL CONNECTICUT STATE UNIVERSITY. This role oversees daily food service operations on site, coordinating activities across fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, and casual dining to maintain quality and service standards.

The Food Supervisor will support management, ensure a safe work environment, and train staff, while addressing customer satisfaction and operational needs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business.
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees.
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Pay Range: $30.00 - $30.00

What You’ll Do

As a Food Supervisor at Sodexo, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. You will provides oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of service employees engaged in food operations, including but not limited to fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining and cafes.
