Job summary

Sodexo at Marquette University, Marquette Place, Milwaukee, is seeking a Food Supervisor to oversee on-site dining operations, coordinating routine activities of service staff across fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events, casual dining and cafes.

You will work with management to ensure a safe work environment, facilitate staff training, and pursue high levels of customer satisfaction. Weekdays with varying shifts apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Team-oriented, adaptable and reliable.
• Able to oversee food operation activities on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to management in daily oversight of key functions and employees.
• Ensure a safe working environment for all staff throughout the facility.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees.
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in quality and service.
• Attend shifts as scheduled with reliable attendance; other duties as needed.

Workdays/shifts: Weekdays - varying shifts (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour - $23.00 per hour

What You’ll Do: As a Food Supervisor at Sodexo, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. You will provides oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of service employees engaged in food operations, including but not limited to fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining and cafes.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
