Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Food Supervisor to oversee on-site food service operations at Kansas State University. The role features varied shifts, full-time or part-time employment, and a pay range of $14 to $19 per hour. Open availability is preferred to accommodate campus needs.

You will coordinate routine work activities of service staff across fast casual, coffee counters, cafeterias, and events, while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Prior supervisory experience is a plus.

• 1 or more years of related work experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.

• Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Pay Range: $14 per hour - $19 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Food Supervisor at Sodexo, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. You will provides oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of service employees engaged in food operations, including but not limited to fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining and cafes.
