Sodexo is hiring a Food Supervisor at COLORADO MESA UNIVERSITY in Grand Junction, CO. The role provides on-site supervision of routine food service activities across fast casual, cafeterias, events, and cafes, under management direction.

You will help train staff, ensure a safe working environment, assist in customer satisfaction and problem resolution, and ensure timely shifts. Full-time, varying shifts, pay range $17-$19 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site oversight of routine food service activities.
• Assist management in ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
• Train and orient staff; support customer satisfaction and problem resolution.

You will provides oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of service employees engaged in food operations, including but not limited to fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining and cafes.Responsibilities include:Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of businessAssist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.Facilitate orientation and training of employeesWork with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularityOther duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.What You Bring:Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.1 or more years of related work experience.
