Sodexo is seeking a Food Supervisor at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg. The role oversees on-site food operations across fast casual, cafeterias, and events, coordinating routine tasks and staff under management direction.

You will help ensure quality, safety, training, and customer satisfaction while managing shift coverage and contributing to a positive work environment.

• 1+ years of related work experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Workdays/shifts:

Mornings and afternoon/evenings - varying days, and some weekends/holidays. More details will be provided during the interview process.

What You’ll Do:

As a Food Supervisor at Sodexo, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. You will provides oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of service employees engaged in food operations, including but not limited to fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining and cafes.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 1 or more years of related work experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
