FOOD SERVICES SPECIALIST – STOCKING

This is an entry‑level position for someone who enjoys a fast‑paced environment and dynamic workload within a large team. The role involves supporting food preparation, meal delivery, serving guests, maintaining dining spaces, and stocking or distributing products. Cross‑training in multiple roles is required so the specialist can fill in at a moment’s notice.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure cleanliness in all on‑site dining areas.
• Maintain beverage stations, food sales locations, and break areas.
• Prepare food according to SpaceX quality and sanitation standards.
• Support proper product rotation and storage per food safety requirements.
• Follow stocking routes, track inventory, and distribute product as instructed.
• Help the team meet time and quality standards set by the supervisor.
• Setup, maintain, and break down a daily workstation in a kitchen or service environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of experience in food preparation, customer service, or other food services support roles.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 1+ years of cooking experience.
• Ability to take initiative in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Possession or willingness to obtain a food handler’s card.
• Experience working in a high‑volume output environment.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook).
• Sound understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Availability for all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Ability to carry large heavy items such as dishes in tubs or trays unassisted (up to 25 lbs).
• Ability to stand for long periods of time – up to 10 hours a day.
• Ability to perform frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of objects.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Pay range:

• Level 1: $22.00/hour
• Level 2: $23.00/hour
• Level 3: $24.00/hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
