Job summary

White Oak Medical Center is seeking a Food Service Worker to support meal preparation and line cooking in a patient- and guest-focused setting. You will follow standardized recipes, stock service areas, and ensure HACCP guidelines are followed during daily operations.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, 1–4 years of food service experience preferred, and ServSafe certification or the ability to obtain within 60 days. This is a part-time position with daytime shifts and weekend coverage.

White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire a Food Service Worker who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Food Service worker you will:

• Responsible for preparing food and following standardized recipes 100% of the time
• Responsible for Stocking Items to be sold
• Responsible for adhering to HACCP guidelines.
• Responsible for Hazzard Analysis and Critical Control Points
• Must follow Department Policies and Procedures on cleaning
• Other Duties as Assigned

Qualified candidates will possess:

• High School diploma or GED
• 1 to 4 years food service experience Preferred But willing to train the right candidate
• ServSafe or be able to pass ServSafe within 60 days
• Experience reading recipes and working on a grill is preferred

Work Schedule:

• Employment Type: Variable Part-time
• Hours per Week: 18 hrs./week
• Typical Daily Schedule: 8 hour shifts anytime between 9:00am-8pm.
• Shift Type: Day
• Weekend Requirements: Required every other weekend
• Holiday Requirements: Required Follow company holiday calendar
• Shift Differential Eligible: Yes

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.79 If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
