Job summary

Unidine is hiring a temporary Food Service Worker at Sisters Of Mercy of the Americas in Dallas, PA. The role pays $14.00 per hour, with shifts Thursday 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm and alternating Fridays and weekends.

Prior serving and dishwashing experience is preferred, and training is provided. The successful candidate will join a culinary team and handle prep, service, and food safety duties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior serving and dishwashing experience preferred.
• Temporary schedule with shifts: Thursday 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm; alternate Fridays 10:00 am – 6:30 pm; alternate weekends 10:00 am – 6:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Washes, peels, cuts and seeds fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays between stations, stove and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards for quality and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures sanitation and safety compliance.

Job Summary

• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
