Job summary

Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Bethel, Alaska, is hiring for a regular, full-time food service position. You will assist in preparing, serving, and delivering meals to patients within the hospital environment.

The role requires basic education (6th grade) and experience is preferred. Training is provided on the job, with comprehensive benefits and a focus on community health in rural southwest Alaska.

Qualifications

• Completion of 6th grade.
• Previous experience in foodservice desirable but not required.
• Basic kitchen utensils, small kitchen appliances, dishmachine and food carts.
• Work Ethics Course completed through Alaska Job Center or equivalent.

Position Summary:

Performs a variety of routine duties related to the preparation, serving and delivery of food to patients.

Position Qualifications:

• Completion of 6th grade
• Previous experience in foodservice desirable but will do on-the-job training.
• Basic kitchen utensils, small kitchen appliances, dishmachine, food carts
• Completion of Work Ethics Course through the Alaska Job Center (call 907-543-2210 for more information).
