Job Description: Food Service Worker

We are hiring immediately for a part-time Food Service Worker position at Central Methodist University, Fayette, MO. No previous experience is necessary. Pay rate is $13.75 per hour. Online applications are accepted only.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare, present, and serve food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
2. Weigh and measure ingredients.
3. Transport food to and from work stations following safety standards.
4. Store food properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
5. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
6. Distribute supplies and utensils.
7. Follow recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
8. Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
9. Resolve customer concerns and relay information to supervisors.
10. Maintain compliance with service standards, inventory, and safety regulations.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
