Job summary

Compass Group USA, operating as CulinArt, is hiring a part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER for Valley Forge Military Academy in Wayne, PA. Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am–6:00 pm; prior food service experience required; duties include food prep, serving customers, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Fixed pay rate: $13.00 per hour. Benefits include retirement, health programs, shopping discounts, and voluntary protections.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards for quality and portions.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner and resolves concerns with supervisor assistance.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation, safety and company service standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
