Flik Independent School Dining is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker at Norfolk Collegiate School in Norfolk, VA. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 3:00 pm, with online applications accepted only. Prior year of professional kitchen experience is required.

The role focuses on food prep, serving, and maintaining safety standards in a school dining environment. We offer meals, uniforms and laundering services at select locations and opportunities to join a nationwide foodservice

• Previous 1 year of professional kitchen experience required.

Responsabilités

• Prepares, washes, peels, cuts and seeds fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and serving temperatures.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available
• Pay Range: $15.50 per hour to $17.00 per hour.
