Morrison Living in Colorado Springs is hiring immediately for a Part Time Food Service Worker position at The Living Center. The role involves preparing, presenting and serving food as needed in a supportive dining environment.

No experience is required—training is provided. Shifts currently include Tue/Thu 6AM-2:30PM, Sat 11AM-7:30PM and Sun 10AM-2:30PM, with more details discussed in interview. Pay ranges from $15.25 to $15.60 per hour.

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Washes, peels, cuts and seeds fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans and trays safely between stations.
• Stores food with proper wrapping, dating and rotation.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies and portable equipment.
• Complies with recipes and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.

• Location: The Living Center 2445 E. Cache La Poudre St, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.


• Schedule: Part Time; Shifts may vary, though potentials currently include: Tuesday and Thursday 6AM-230PM, Saturday 11AM-730PM, Sunday 10AM-230PM. Discuss more details in interview!


• Requirement: N/A - Experience preferred but not required! We will train for the position.


• Pay Range: $15.25 per hour to $15.60 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.


• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.


• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.


• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.


• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.


• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.


• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.


• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.


• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.


• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.


• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.


• Performs other duties as assigned.
