Job summary

Quest Food Management Services, Inc. is seeking a friendly Food Service Worker I in Ohio to assist with food preparation, serving, and maintaining clean, inviting stations for students and staff.

Follow safety standards, document temperatures as needed, work as part of a team, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced school setting.

This position offers full-time and part-time schedules with benefits and growth opportunities within the Quest program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Food service experience preferred, especially in schools or higher education.
• Food Handler certification or ability to obtain certification as required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve menu items, including pizzas, deli items, salads, desserts, smoothies, and fresh fruit.
• Set up, maintain, and replenish food stations throughout meal periods.
• Slice meats and cheeses and prepare food according to established standards.
• Maintain accurate food temperature logs.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Work effectively as part of a team and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Follow Quest policies and applicable state and local food safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Prepare and serve menu items, including pizzas, deli items, salads, desserts, smoothies, and fresh fruit.
• Set up, maintain, and replenish food stations throughout meal periods.
• Slice meats and cheeses and prepare food according to established standards.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.

• May work around heat, steam, noise, odors, cleaning chemicals, and walk-in freezers.
• Kitchen environment with low to moderate noise levels.
