Compass Group USA at Texas A&M University Texarkana is hiring for full-time and part-time Food Service Worker roles. You will prepare, present, and serve food, perform prep work, and ensure safety, sanitation and proper portion control. You will handle customer service and maintain inventory and standards.

Requires Texas food handlers certification. Pay ranges from $11.50 to $12.50 per hour, with days, nights and weekends; benefits and year-round flexibility may apply as noted.

Responsabilités

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Washes, peels, cuts and weighs fruits and vegetables.
• Transfers food to stations, stove and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Stores food with proper wrapping, dating and rotation.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies and uses approved recipes to ensure quality and portions.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner and handles concerns.
• Adheres to sanitation, safety and inventory procedures.

Location: Texas A&M University

• We are hiring immediately for full time and part time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.
• Address: 7101 University Avenue, Texarkana, TX 75503. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time and part time schedules; days and hours may vary. Nights and weekends. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior Texas food handlers certification is required.
• Pay Range: $11.50 per hour to$12.50per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents and serves food as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
