Job summary

Eurest at Fort Drum, NY is hiring for food service worker roles, full-time and part-time. The position involves preparing, presenting and serving meals in a federal facility with strict safety and service standards.

Shifts run daily from 5:00am to 9:00pm with two options; prior customer service experience is preferred. Compensation includes a base rate plus a federal health/welfare add-on for eligible hours, with benefits and paid time off after one year of service.

• We are hiring immediately for full time and part time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.

• Location : Army Fort Durm - 10305 N Riva Ridge Loop, Fort Drum, NY 13602. Note: online applications accepted only .

• Schedule : Full time and part time schedules available. 7-day operation with two shift options, open daily from 5:00am - 9:00pm. More details during interview.

• Requirement : Previous customer service experience is preferred.

• Perks : Year-round employment, paid federal holidays, paid sick leave, 2 weeks PTO after one year of service.

• Fixed Pay Rate : $18.75 per hour plus a separate $5.09/hr SCA Health & Welfare for eligible paid hours, up to 40 hours per week.

• This position supports operations at a federal defense facility. In compliance with applicable federal national security requirements, employment in this role is limited by law to U.S. citizens. You must be able to verify U.S. citizenship at the time of hire.

• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.

• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.

• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.

• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.

• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.

• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.

• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.

• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
