Job summary

Eurest is hiring for a Food Service Worker at Army Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, CO. We offer full-time and part-time schedules with 7-day operation and three shift options, daily from 5:00am to 9:00pm. Prior experience is preferred.

The fixed pay rate is $19.50 per hour, and citizenship verification is required for this federal facility position. Job duties include food prep, handling ingredients, food safety, serving customers, and maintaining sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Planned and prepared foods according to recipes and safety standards.
• Washes, peels, cuts and seeds fruits and vegetables as needed.
• Weights and measures designated ingredients.
• Transfers pans, kettles and trays to/from work stations and storage areas.
• Stores food properly with wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils to maintain sanitation.
• Distributes supplies and portable equipment as needed.
• Adheres to approved recipes and portion control for quality and serving temperatures.
• Serves customers promptly and courteously; handles concerns with supervisor guidance.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Maintains sanitation and safety requirements; performs other duties as assigned.

• We are hiring immediately for full time and part time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.
• Location: Army Fort Carson - 6303 Wetzel Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80913. Note: online applications accepted only.

• Requirement: Previous experience is preferred.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
