Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for Food Service Worker positions in Augusta, GA. This role supports patient and community meals with full-time and part-time schedules from early morning to evening shifts.

Location is at Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home in Augusta, with 4 years of prior food service experience required. Pay ranges from $10.00 to $15.00 per hour, with full benefits for eligible staff.

FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

• We are hiring immediately for full time and part time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.
• Location: Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home - 1101-15th Street, Augusta, GA 30901. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time and part time schedules. 5:00 am to 7:30 pm, days may vary. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: 4 years of previous food service experience required.
• Pay Range: $10.00per hour to$15.00per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
