Job summary

Morrison Living in San Antonio, TX is seeking a full-time Food Service Worker to join our culinary team at The Village at Incarnate Word. Shifts are 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, days may vary. Prior kitchen and cooking experience is preferred, and we’re willing to train the right candidate.

In this role you’ll prep, portion and serve meals, maintain food safety, and support a collaborative kitchen team dedicated to hospitality excellence. Competitive hourly pay with benefits available.

• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Follows recipes and portion control for quality and consistency.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures sanitation, safety, inventory and cash-control compliance.

• Location: The Village at Incarnate Word - 4707 Broadway, San Antonio, TX 78209.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. Days may vary. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior kitchen and cooking experience preferred.
• Perks: Willing to train!
• Pay Range: $13.50 per hour to $14.50 per hour.

Job Summary

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
