Morrison Healthcare in Pikeville, KY is hiring immediately for full-time Food Service Worker positions. Location: Pikeville Medical Center, 911 South Bypass Road, Pikeville, KY 41501. Schedule: 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, Sunday through Saturday. No previous experience required. Perks include training. Fixed pay rate: $12.88 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food: washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits/vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator while following safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation, safety, inventory and cash procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
