Job Details

• We are hiring immediately for full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.
• Location: LCMC Touro Infirmary - 1401 Foucher Street, New Orleans, LA 70115. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, hours may vary. Some weekends required. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Pay Range: $13.00 to $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Store food properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies and utensils.
• Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and proper portioning.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolve customer concerns and communicate with supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
