Chartwells K-12 in Mountain View, AR is hiring a full-time Food Service Worker. The role supports daily cafeteria operations, serving meals and performing prep duties.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:30 am to 2:00 pm. Prior food service experience is preferred but not required, with a willingness to train and grow within the program.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is preferred, but not required.
• Location: Mountain View, AR school cafeteria.
• Schedule: Mon–Fri, 6:30 am to 2:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work: washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans and trays between stations while maintaining safety.
• Stores food following wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies and utensils.
• Ensures proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Complies with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
