Job summary

Eurest in Irvine, CA is hiring for a full-time Food Service Worker to prepare, present and serve meals in a fast-paced environment. You will follow safety standards, handle prep tasks and maintain quality while assisting customers with a friendly, efficient service approach.

The position requires a CA Food Handler card and at least 1 year of food service or guest service experience. Compensation ranges from $19.00–$21.00 per hour plus benefits, with some Saturday shifts possible.

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.

• Stores food following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and serving temperatures.

• Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday - Friday, 6:30 am -3:00 pm. Some saturday shifts as business needs. More details upon interview.

• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.

• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
