Location and Schedule

Location: Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center – 10580 North Meridian Street, Carmel, IN 46290. Full‑time and part‑time schedules. Days and hours may vary. Morning and/or afternoon and weekday availability required. Rotating weekends and holidays required. More details upon interview.

Requirements

Prior food service experience preferred.

Pay Range

$16.00 per hour to $17.50 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
