Job description

Location: Lonoke Schools – 401 West Holly Street, Lonoke, AR 72086. Applications accepted via online portal only.

Schedule: Part‑time, Monday through Friday; hours may vary. Details will be discussed during interview.

Pay: $11.00–$12.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Perform cashiering duties and general food service work while maintaining sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining room facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables; weigh and measure ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Store foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service‑oriented manner.
• Relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Perform sales transactions, enter sales into cash register, make change, accept card or other payment, issue receipts.
• Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
• Maintain assigned change funds and cash receipts; ensure cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
