Job summary

Chartwells K-12 in Kokomo, IN is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Food Service Worker/Cashier positions at Northwestern School Corporation. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work as described (washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables).
• Carries pans, kettles and trays to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Stores foods in designated areas with proper wrapping, dating and rotation.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Ensures sanitation and safety compliance.
• Uses recipes and production standards to ensure quality and portions.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints.
• Relays information to supervisor.
• Performs sales transactions and enters sales into the cash register.
• Makes change and processes payments.
• Issues receipts and processes refunds.
• Manages cash drawer per overage/shortage standards.
• Replenishes condiments and supplies while keeping area clean.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
