Overview

We are hiring immediately for full time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions.

Location: Butterball - 1628 Garner Chapel Road, Mount Olive, NC 28365. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time; Days may vary, 9:45 pm to 10:00 pm and 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. More details upon interview.

Fixed Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Responsibilities

• Performs cashiering duties and general food service work while maintaining sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.
• Prepares items (washing, peeling, cutting, seeding fruits and vegetables) and measures designated ingredients.
• Transfers food and supplies safely between stations, managing items and equipment as required.
• Stores foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures; cleans work areas and equipment; follows sanitation and safety requirements.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
• Handles customer interactions, assists with complaints in a friendly, service‑oriented manner, and relays information to supervisors.
• Performs sales transactions, processes payments, issues receipts, and handles cash accurately; manages change funds and cash drawers per overage/shortage standards.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining area cleanliness.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Prior kitchen experience is preferred.
• Ability to perform essential job duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
