Proviso Township High Schools District 209 is seeking a Food Service Worker to prepare meals daily using approved recipes and maintain high sanitation standards. The role reports to the Manager Nutrition Services and involves serving students and staff, handling payments, and assisting in inventory management.
The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, be able to read and follow directions, and possess a valid driver's license.
Summary: The Food Service Worker is responsible for preparing appropriate quantities of food to meet menu requirements and maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and safety practices.
