The Trinity Services Group Inc. is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen operations inside a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve meals, train staff, and ensure compliance with food-handling regulations and safety standards.

Schedule includes Wed-Sun shifts, with specific hours listed (Wed 10am-6pm, Thu 10am-6pm, Fri 10am-8pm, Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 6am-2pm). Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required, 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred: prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee inmate labor and kitchen teams during food prep and service.
• Cook and serve meals according to recipes and menus.
• Train other food service workers and enforce safety/food-handling standards.
• Promote a safe, healthy work environment for staff and inmates.
• Perform duties such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, and standing for long periods.

About This Position

Must be available to work some weekends and holidays

$1000 bonus

Wed - Sun

Wed - 10am - 6pm

Thur - 10am - 6pm

Frid - 10am - 8pm

Sat - 10am - 6pm

Sun - 6am - 2pm

The Food Service Supervisor oversees inmate labor and team members assisting with the food service operation in a correctional facility. You will also prepare and serve a variety of food items following assigned work instructions and menus and use a variety of food preparation utensils and machines in preparing food.

You will report to a Food Service Director.You will work onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts in the kitchen.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes. Use proper utensils to serve menued portions to meet clients' nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for other employees/inmates.
• Physical demands include items such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• Required:
  • We require a high school diploma or GED, and that you are at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred:
  • We prefer prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.
