Salary Range: $20.06 To $29.08 Hourly
We are a residential treatment center for youth with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, offering outpatient behavioral health and on-site medical services. Located on 55 peaceful acres, we provide a safe, supportive environment grounded in traditional, cultural, and spiritual values. Our holistic program blends Indigenous teachings with evidence-based practices to support healing, growth, and resilience in both Native and non‑Native youth, fostering respect, honesty, generosity, and cultural identity.
The Food Service Worker is responsible for preparing attractive, nutritional meals and snacks for the food service program provided to residents under a residential treatment program, staff and guests; maintains kitchen areas, storage areas, and food service equipment.
Candidates must meet the minimum educational and experience requirements for the position and demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant applications.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. The employee will experience frequent reaching, walking and standing on quarry tile floors, lifting, stooping, or carrying of equipment and materials may be required. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, and fumes. Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; bend stoop or kneel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be available to work flexible hours and weekends.
Work may be performed in fluctuating temperatures, including heat from cooking and cleaning equipment and cold from walk‑in storage and freezers. Work is performed in kitchen environment using equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, slicers, mixers, knives, etc. the noise level in the work environment is moderate.
