The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and assist in completing daily reports. The role requires maintaining high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Verify transactions by preparing a daily report.
• Understand meal components and inclusivity.
• Ensure food storage is accurate and sanitary.
• Serve food according to schedules and policies.
• Use and care for kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Prepare a variety of food items and beverages timely.
• Add garnishments to enhance customer satisfaction and visual appeal.
• Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen equipment.
• Follow food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage.
• Adhere to the uniform policy.
• Coordinate with the manager to understand daily menu requirements.
• Supervise food temperature requirements.
• Keep work and storage areas clean and organized.
• Sanitize counters, steam tables, and other equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness standards, including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing.
• Manage garbage and kitchen floor areas sanitation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned in the kitchen.
• This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
