Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Food Service Worker in Northwood to deliver friendly service and ensure smooth operation of food service for customers. You will prepare and serve food, assist in kitchen tasks, and handle front-of-house duties with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Allocated shifts include early to late hours with 35 hours per week, and the role includes uniform, parking, gym access, and career development opportunities. Training is provided to support excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years with a legal right to work.
• Full training provided for this role.
• Able to work well in a team and independently when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
• General kitchen duties, including food preparation such as sandwiches and salads
• Front of house duties including clearing tables and taking orders
• Till work and handling payments
• Stock replenishment and rotation
• General cleaning of front and back of house
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness through sweeping and mopping

Location: Northwood HQ, Sandy Lane, Northwood, HA6 3HPPay: £13.45 per hourHours: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 days over 7 (some weekends)Shift times: Mix of shifts between 07:00 and 21:00

What you’ll do:

• Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
• General kitchen duties, including food preparation including making sandwiches and cold food
• General front of house duties such as clearing tables, table service, customer service
• Till work and taking payments
• Restocking items and stock rotation
• General cleaning of front and back of house
• Sweeping/Mopping and general housekeeping to ensure areas are always cleaned to a high standard.

What we’re looking for:

• Must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years, with a legal right to work in the UK and ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks (residency waivers available).
• Previous customer service experience is helpful, but not essential – we’ll provide full training.
• Comfortable working as part of a team and occasionally on your own.
